Kurt Manwaring
Kurt Manwaring is the member manager of Manwaring Consulting, LLC and resides in Taylorsville, Utah.

Kurt is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Public Administration with an emphasis in criminal justice at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. He holds a B.S. degree in Sociology from the University of Utah, where he also earned a certificate in Criminology. Kurt also received an Associate's Degree in General Studies from LDS Business College in Salt Lake City, Utah.
During his undergraduate studies at the University of Utah, Kurt exhibited a unique ability to weave together numerous complicated issues into one whole, enabling him to offer a fresh perspective on several topics. He published academic journal articles in Social Dialogue and the Hinckley Journal of Politics, addressing topics such as substance abuse, judicial philosophy, economic recessions, and legislative funding. Kurt is highly valued as a researcher and consultant as a result of his exceptional interpretive abilities.


While he seeks to gain all of the education that he can, Kurt is currently developing expertise in national health care reform and nonprofit organizational strategy. He has developed skills in the areas of substance abuse treatment and prevention programs, economic development, forensic finance, legislative funding, and project design. He served two prestigious judicial internships with the Salt Lake County Third District Drug Court as well as a highly coveted externship with the Salt Lake City Mayor's Office.


Kurt is a very talented writer who continues to make valuable contributions with his writing abilities. His articles can be seen in newspapers such as the Deseret Morning News and the Salt Lake Tribune. He also maintains a personal blog where he offers insights related to his evolving perspective on society, religion, philosophy, history, and self.
